“I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.”
~Sarah Williams
Since I haven't rendered anything in weeks, I took this weekend to catch up on all the challenges going on that I'd just not had time to do. The October PC challenge at DAZ is "Out of the Darkness." There are lots of good things already on the thread, including many creepy, shadowy renders -- it IS October, after all! -- but when I heard “Out of the Darkness," my mind immediately went to “light” more than “shadow.” Without one, there cannot be the other. It makes me think of something The Buddha once said… “There has to be evil so that good can prove its purity above it.” There must be darkness so there can be light.
So, what comes out of the darkness? Light, of course.
Rendered in DS 4.6, color correction and surface blur in Photoshop. All resources used in the production of this work are owned by, created by, or licensed to me for personal and commercial use.
