I have been meaning to start a set of "Wheel of Time" renders for some time now, and am delighted to have finally managed to dig into one. Nynaeve is, by far, my favorite character from Robert Jordan's amazing series of novels.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Nynaeve, she is the self-trained Wisdom of the tiny village of Emond's Field. Stubborn as an ox, sharp as a tack, strong as steel, and unafraid to speak whatever caustic thoughts might occur to her at any given moment, Nynaeve is also a powerful and compassionate healer... and a woman in love. She can only channel the One Power when mad enough to spit bullets... and anyone who isn't a woolhead runs for the hills when she achieves such a state.

In memory of Robert Jordan (James Rigney Jr.), who created this amazing woman and the breathtaking world she lives in. Rest in peace, Master Gleeman, and may the Light shine upon you.
