Playing with DS again. I'm still able to get better results quickly in Poser (because, let's face it, Poser is like a third arm for me!), but am enjoying the challenge of learning a new software platform. Here's the first render I've done with AO bricks applied to a character's skin (which I did manually in shader builder).

AO settings on the figure are: MaxDist 1000, samples: 24, bias 0.5. Nodes applied to skin and clothing, but nothing else. AO node plugged into specular value (which is set to 50%), and diffuse value. Also used DOF on the camera, which, incidentally is SO easy to visualize in DS!

Rendered in DAZ Studio 3 Advanced, no postwork except watermark.
