It's been a very sad few weeks.  In addition to the recent loss of the amazing Robin Williams, our little DAZ community has also bid farewell to one of our dearest, finest members.  Jaderail, mentor to soooo many people on the DAZ forums (and elsewhere) has left us with holes in our hearts -- but a smile in them, also.  He was featured in my journal when he passed, so I thought I'd take a moment and single him out.  He will be missed.

Please remember... cherish your health and support education and research of chronic illnesses that affect  the body AND mind.  Chronic physical illnesses rob so many people of things many of us take for granted... and chronic mental illness is frequently invisible to the casual observer.  In all cases it is wise to remember that chronic illnesses can be debilitating and deadly.   There is so very much about our bodies and brains that still mystifies us.  But one thing that both of these men demonstrated in their lives was COMPASSION.  Sometimes the love and acceptance of another person is just enough to help us through another day.  And sometimes that love and acceptance follows us into another place, where freedom from those illnesses is finally possible.

Rest in peace, gentlemen.
